Carolyn Kramer, a contemporary artist hailing from Johnstown, PA, has made a name for herself through her captivating textured canvases and expressive gestural drawings that radiate feelings of peace, openness, and boundless energy. Holding a B.Sc. in Art Education from Kent State University and having furthered her artistry through a Fine Art Post Grad at Otis College of Art & Design, she exhibits a diverse repertoire of styles and techniques. Carolyn's adept use of oil encaustics, acrylic paints, pastels, mono-prints, and rubbings serves as a testament to her deep reverence for the interplay of color. Her artistic prowess has gained her recognition, such as the esteemed 2nd Prize in Mixed Media at the Westlake Village Artist’s Guild Juried Group Show and the prestigious Women in the Arts Recognition Award from the American Heritage Committee, NSDAR, in 2019.
