Monica Marks is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. She earned her BA in Art from California State University, Northridge, and an MA in Clinical Art Therapy. Monica’s experience in the mental health field influences her work, and she believes strongly in the power of expressive arts to promote emotional growth and healing. She loves adding to her collection of discarded or lost items and reclaiming them as part of her paintings and sculptures. Monica’s passion is to shine a light on hidden emotions, identities, and disabilities that deserve to be seen and honored.
